Why the Event Consultant is important for our work:

As an Event Consultant, you are key for building strong relationships with our client base and assisting them with organizing the details necessary to execute their events along company standards and client expectations. You will be in daily communication with our clients from the initial inquiry all the way up the day of the event. Using our rental management system and internal communication, you will enter all of the pertinent details with our operations team so the events are delivered and installed correctly.

Why the Event Director is important to Munro Enterprises, LLC:

As an Event Director, you are responsible for building strong relationships with our clients who produce large scale complex events. You will work very closely with our sales and ops team to ensure that all the details of the events are executed to company standards and client expectations. You will do this by conducting site visits, internal communications, on site supervision and exceptional customer service and follow up.

Your contributions to the Munro Team:

  • Acquire and develop strong relationships with clients to evaluate client needs to determine and suggest appropriate rental needs for their events.
  • Product expert to guide and upsell to client rental needs by demonstrating persuasive “selling” communication style.
  • Communicate effectively with a diverse team of personalities and communication styles.
  • Conduct meetings, site visits, showroom appointments to gather and provide details of event to input in our rental management system with the support of the Event Consultant Team.
  • Follow company procedures accurately and with urgency while working on multiple events at any given time.
  • Work with several teams including sales, business development, inventory and operations teams to provide all necessary information for successful execution of the events.

  • Open availability including early mornings, late nights, and weekends; open to having a constant changing schedule to meet the needs of clients and ensure flawless execution of events.

Reports To: Director of Sales/ General Manager

The Asset Manager oversees the accuracy and quality of company assets and systems and pricing for customized orders. Schedule cycle-counts to ensure accurate asset counts of all rental product, analyze weekly asset reports to ensure product availability for ordres being delivered to our clients, troubleshoot asset availability issues quickly and implement corrective action, communicate with sales team in regards to asset availability. Coordinate sub-rentals between locations and vendors, work with production team to develop and maintain quality assurance program and material handling standards on rental equipment. Analyze equipment history and costs, update and maintain accurate records within our rental software along with the procurement department, help develop future rental asset quantity needs and produce corresponding capital expenditure budget.

The Installer directly impacts the success of setting up events and exceed client expectations through quality work. As the Installer, you are responsible for ensuring event rental equipment is carefully installed and broken down safely and correctly. As the Installer, you will work closely with clients on site and ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction. Safety is priority and you must foster a safe work environment by using the appropriate PPE and follow directions.

About You:

  • Event set-up experience preferred
  • Extremely task-oriented, accurate, efficient
  • Problem solve and prioritize needs while on job sites
  • Ability to walk, lift and carry heavy items for extended periods
  • Self-motivated, willing to take initiative to complete the task, while being a team player willing to “jump in and roll up his/her sleeves” to help others.
  • Thrives in a fast pace environment while staying on task and having attention to detail.

Your contributions to the Munro Team:

  • Participating in strikes at event venues
  • Installation of different size event tents
  • Installation of event furnishings in both indoor and outdoor events including but not limited to event furniture, staging, dance floors, kitchen equipment, lighting and draping.
  • Communicate with clients and team members in a professional manner.
  • Preparation for daily scheduled activities both in the warehouse and on-site
  • Loading and unloading trucks at the warehouse and on job sites
  • Ensure items are accounted for during delivery and pick- ups
  • Stacking, cleaning, organizing inventory items on pallet and moving them to different locations when not loading
  • Load/Unload orders

As the Driver and lead Installer, you are responsible for ensuring event rental equipment is carefully loaded and unloaded correctly. As a Driver/Installer you will lead crew members proficiently and by example. As the Driver/ Installer, you will work closely with clients on site and ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction. Safety is priority you must foster and maintain a consistent safe work environment for all crew members.

  • Read and comprehend company orders and invoices to complete client deliveries and pick-ups.
  • Ability to safely operate a 24- foot box truck with lift gate.
  • Load, unload, transport, and deliver items to clients, businesses or venues in a safe, timely manner.
  • Use provided diagrams and drawings to properly install and layout event equipment.
  • Lead crew members proficiently with a helpful teaching style.
  • Work closely with the client on site to ensure high level of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Adhere to assigned routes and follow timed schedules.
  • Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
